You know something bad has happened when the front wheel of a tractor ends up tucked under the tractor and almost touching the rear wheel. The front axle on Padraig Crieghton’s MF 3120 was ripped clean off when the driver stamped on one of the independent brakes and promptly veered off the road. Back at base, the damage to the stricken MF 3120 was assessed. It wasn’t as bad as it initially seemed and with some second-hand replacement parts sourced from a breaker, the tidy MF was soon back on the road again.
